Learn Coding in London, Taught in Somali
Coding in Somali, from London
If you are in London and you want to learn to code, you do not have to move or switch languages first. Dugsiiye teaches in Somali: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, databases, Next.js, React Native, AI engineering and Agentic coding with Claude Code. It is all online, and the videos play on a phone or a laptop.
There are three ways in: the mentored Full Stack AI Engineer program, which runs from HTML through to AI engineering with weekly live sessions, mentor code review and a student community on Discord; individual courses you take at your own pace; and the free full-length courses on YouTube, among them Python, React (22 hours) and SQL. Living in United Kingdom, you get to study in your mother tongue instead of translating as you go.
How to start from London
- Start with something free. Watch a full course on Dugsiiye on YouTube, Python or the 22 hour React course. It costs nothing.
- Read the starter guide. Learning to code in Somali sets out what to learn first and what follows it. For unfamiliar terms, use the Somali tech glossary.
- Pick a full path. For a mentor and live sessions, join the mentorship. For a single subject, such as React or Node.js, take it from the course list.
